The bearings on most conveying system components are heavily guarded and largely inaccessible to routine manual PM lubrication, as safety requirements prohibit lubrication during operation.  Single-point automatic lubrication is the best all-around answer to effective and reliable conveyor and elevator lubrication.
Shaft bearings, sleeves and impeller glands on all types of pumps can be made to last longer if they are given enough lubrication at the right time … that is, during operation.  Automatic lubrication, either single- or multi-point, can give every grease point exactly what it needs.
Fear of over-lubricating with manual grease guns causes many plants to ignore EM lubrication and simply run expensive motors to failure.  Judicious use of electro-mechanical automatic single-point lubricators allows plant maintenance to deliver the exact amount of grease that the motor manufacturer recommends, without fear of damaging motor internals.
Blowers and fan shaft bearings are an often overlooked part of plant support equipment.  Manual PM lube cycles can be missed, or at best result in a too-much/too-little cycle of lubrication.  Automatic single-point lubricators can be installed in hard-to-access areas and deliver grease continually during operation.
Making sure that lubricants penetrate into every link and roller to keep chains, sprockets and tracks fully protected is the challenge to getting full service out of chain systems.  Simpson chain lube systems are in use throughout a variety of plants and industries.
The worldwide pelleting industry includes a range of products from animal feed to wood pellets for boiler fuel and home heating.  The Simpson Autolube system is the industry’s gold standard to reliable automatic pellet mill lubrication.
