For the past 25 years, Simpson has been the primary supplier of custom-built, central reservoir oil systems for the tenter tracks and chains that convey carpet through various processes of dyeing and finishing.

All of these expensive components operate in an elevated range of curing temperatures, plus exposure to steam, latex, dyes and corrosive chemicals  Simpson traditional track and chain lube systems have protected practically all of the carpet industry’s finishing equipment for over two decades.

Electric motors make up a large portion of the individual pieces of equipment in a carpet yarn and fiber facility.  The application of programmable single-point lubricating units to give motor bearings the amount and frequency of grease that the motor manufacturer specifies has significantly reduced the failure and replacement rate on expensive motors in carpet yarn and fiber extrusion plants.
